How has the school been of value to my Christian Education process?
Midwest Theological University (MCT/MTU) New Birth Satellite campus was the perfect fit for me to earn my Doctor of Theology Degree. The University is accredited, affordable, local, and faith based, everything I had prayed for. While finishing my master’s degree at a secular university my heart was set on enrolling into a doctoral program. I was disappointed to see there were no Christian based doctoral programs in the secular universities that fit my specific needs. I was overjoyed when a friend told me to check out MCT/MTU online and gave me the contact information for the satellite campus in Seattle, which turned out to be within my local church denomination. I met with Dr. Carolyn Sopher, and was enrolled the same day. I began at the doctoral level in September 2018, and received my Doctoral Degree June of 2020. I am grateful and thankful to MCT/MTU and New Birth Ministries for affording me the opportunity to pursue and successfully accomplish another milestone in my academic and spiritual journey. I am the first in my family to earn a doctoral degree and my family is so proud, especially my Mother who is 88 years of age. God Bless You!
